A complete DJI M400, M350 or M300 RTK water survey drone UAV, fully integrated with the UgCS Skyhub and control software along with your choice of sensing and surveying equipment for use around aquatic (freshwater, coastal and marine) environments.
Thurn specialise in integrating cutting edge water sensing technologies with Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles (UAVs - commonly referred to as drones). In partnership with UgCS, we supply complete DJI drone systems with all the control, navigation and precise positioning hardware and software required to survey in and around water.
A diverse range of drone-borne are sensors available including: Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs) and Surface Velocity Radars (SVRs) for measuring water flow and discharge; various sidescan and single beam sonar systems for bathymetry and sub-bottom profiling; radar and ultrasonic altimeters for surface elevation; water sampling; gas detection and concentration analysis in both air and water.
We actively develop new drone based water sensing equipment. If it can be made light enough, we can adapt it to hang from a drone and develop workflows for recording and analysing data from challenging aquatic environments.
