The Ocean Alpha SL40 is an extremely capable and versatile remote survey platform, ideally suited to performing pre-programmed missions on inland waterways including rivers, lakes and reservoirs as well as coastal and near-shore marine locations. The 15cm draft enables survey and data collection in shallow water locations, inaccessible to larger boats e.g. close to the shoreline.

The large, waterproof enclosure can accommodate a host of onboard equipment with a huge range of possible applications with a moon pool allowing deployment of sensors directly into the water beneath the vessel. Compatible with a range of location and orientation sensor systems (GNSS/GPS, INS, IMU) and RTK/PPK services to obtain precise positioning with corrections for vessel pitch and roll.

Multiple/swappable sensor packages facilitate diverse workflows from one platform, enhancing efficiency and, ultimately, cost savings.

Demonstrations and paid trials are available using our demo boat.
