Application
Thurn supply and develop sensing equipment for a wide range of applications in and around water including: water flow and discharge measurement with surface velocimetry and surface elevation; bathymetry and mapping of rivers lakes, costal and marine environments; object detection and location of submerged or buried artefacts such as utilities pipes and cables; environmental and ecosystem monitoring through water sampling, chemical and gas detection, passive acoustic monitoring with AI powered acoustic analysis. Sensors can be adapted for different deployment scenarios including: fixed mount e.g. to bridges or other permanent structures; UAV (aerial drone), USV (remote boat) or boat mount, hand-held, or self-contained (depending on the sensor type).
